Last month I exhausted my work leave in a West African tour. I visited Cotonou in Benin Rep., Lome in Togo Rep and finally Accra Ghana. One of the things that marvelled me is the thick Nigerian presence in all these great countries of Africa, from the Nigerian business men to other heavy investments by Nigerians which includes Glo Mobile network and Diamond Bank PLC.

Glo Nigeria may not be revered as it is respected outside of Nigeria. A prophet, they say has no honour in his own land. But outside there, Glo network is about the best network provider they’ve ever seen. Their advert bill boards is spread everywhere I visited (except in Togo) and their green-white official colour reminds every Nigerian where he comes from at first sight.

Now it’s not all about Glo or Nigeria but it’s all about Africa and specially West Africa. We must encourage investors investing in our region so that the spirit of Pan Africanism and ECOWAS will create a world formidable force in the coming future.
