Hello today we want to know if you have reasonable problem with your Android device Music player especially those running a 4.0+ OS device. Yes the latest version of any thing isn’t always the best. A classic example is what we get from the subsequent versions of the Android music player. Many users have complained of bugs which pushes the old version to the rank of being called a Classic.

I admit that not everybody or every device may be experiencing some bugs and problems with the Android Music player in ICS and above. Some of the problem includes its surprisingly RAM consuming ability and worst still its difficulty to operate while on a Headphone mode.

The last problem is the most distressing part of the later versions of the Android Player. We admit that many devices run the default media player efficiently while the ear piece is plugged in but others don’t! Try it with Tecno Phantom series or the n7 and you would hate it.

Because of this, concerned application developers decided to reintroduce the Open source and classic version of the Android music player that comes mainly with the Gingerbread version devices as the default player. Nothing fancy here, just providing everyone the option to use the Android Open Source Project (AOSP) developed music player. Not all phones come with this player installed.

There is nothing very special about this age old device player but I know you are wondering why I prefer it to the updated version, I shall tell you.

Up till now, there is no Stable version of Android Operating System and also no stable release of Android music player. But the not bad news is the Gingerbread release is far more stable than any other release from my experience. It seldom crashes and it loads up faster than any other version will.
