To many like me who are addicted to the PC version of VLC media player, the goodnews is that Android can now boast of its own version which is just as sleek and good as the Windows edition.
I downloaded this to my 5 inch Android 4.0 device for some weeks now and it has been smooth all the way. Yes the app is pretty new in the market and its still infact in the beta version (as at now) so I didn’t expect it to be this nice considering the fact that the installer will be first warned by the app that the media player may be unstable!
So because this app is still in the test version I wouldn’t like to review it now. But wait, can I recommend it to any one?
Incase you don’t know VLC player for Android is the best media player I have used on my Android phones. I wouldn’t recommend it for devices with low memory, screen resolution and speed like my Galaxy Y Pros but the app is a wonder to behold in any 4+ inch gadget like my 5” Android phone. If not for anything, VLC for Android supports not only most audio formats like wma, etc., it also perfectly play movie files like these formats: flv, mpg, avi, dat and others.
Because this app is still under test, I urge everyone to try this great app and send bug data to the developers to help them come up with a great Version 1.0 of VLC Player for Android.
To download, search for VLC Player in your Google Playstore.
