I am a friend of high-end devices especially Android powered phones. Infact my phone apart from my PC is my best friend because I use it all the time from gaming to Live stream TVs. As a Nigerian (no disrespect), I always wanted an undying Android phone which is no where to be found. I ceased to complain about my battery when I applied some technical settings that boosted my phone. Some of this I shared in my widely read article Make your mobile phone battery last 10X longer.

But not all will easily grasp the sophisticated tasks that can boost phone battery life, no need to worry there is an Android phone application that automatically does all even more! It is called Easy battery saver.

Guess what? It is a free app that does wonders!
Easy battery saver comes with preset profiles or you can call it settings that will save your battery according to what you are doing with your phone. They include:

NORMAL MODE: This mode when selected leaves the phone as it met it. It saves no energy and does no optimisation. I do not recommend this profile for any one that wants a lasting battery but has an unstable power supply. I use this mode when am in the part of Nigeria where power supply can be guaranteed like Aba Abia State, Portharcourt, Enugu, Akwanga Nassarawa State, Abuja but not in Lagos, Ankpa Kogi state, Asaba, etc.

GENERAL POWER SAVING MODE: This mode saves a lot of energy by monitoring mainly the rate with which the phone connects to the internet and other connections like Wi-fi, bluetooth and auto sync. In our widely read article  I discussed why mobile connections chop a lot of battery life.
This mode can also adjust screen settings like brightness, screen time out, etc. during low battery, among other features.

INTELLIGENT POWER SAVING MODE: This profile has all the features enumerated under General Power Saving Mode. The Intelligent Mode is known for the way the profile intelligently adjusts the connection and screen setting when the battery is low and when its late at night (11:00pm – 6:00 am). For example, it will at this period automatically turn off all connections and set the screen brightness and time-out to the minimum. I use this mode mainly when I want to sleep at night.

SUPER POWER SAVING MODE: This mode is the strictest and most efficient of all. It tolerates no automatic network of any kind be it internet or wifi and bluetooth. This is the best service one can get from this application. Many Android app must connect to the internet because almost all of them wants to transmit your location, the way you use their app and even sensitive information like your contacts and call log. This information is sent to the owners of the respective apps for survey. Unfortunately many users no nothing of this, thanks to Mymobnet! 😉 But with this Super Power Saving mode, your phones blocks all internet access request excluding only the apps you mark as an exception like internet browsers. Also with this mode, your phone will not download those google ads that comes with free android apps.

ADVANCED CUSTOMISED MODE: This mode allows you to customise or set by your self the rate at which your phone connects and other display settings that affects your battery life. It even allows you to set your downlink threshold. For instance you can set your phone to download at not more than 10kb/s and so forth.

These are the basic features of Easy Battery Saver android application. Other features includes tips on how to protect your battery and your battery usage data.

I enjoy using my Android phone with Easy Battery Saver and I hope you too will! 😉
